Birds
I was supposed to meet Alicia today at Ikano to shoot birds(pun not intended). There is a small exhibition going on at the concourse area just one level above Uncle Lim’s showcasing birds and winged beasts from the KL Bird Park.
Unfortunately, i was unable to meet Alicia because she had something to do and would be late, so i went ahead and left after sticking around for less than an hour. Honestly, it was a waste of time as there were too many people crammed into one small location so i had very little opportunity to shoot.
So here’s some of the shots which i took in great difficulty.
Mostly parrots, though i did try to shoot the love birds, where the wire mesh screwed up my auto-focus and they were flying all over in the cage so it was also a waste of time.

I was at Mid-Valley on the 31st blowing off some steam. I was planning to get some Baskin Robins ice-cream, but it was a sea of people there. Goddamn weekends. At least I saved nearly RM20 when I chose to go with a simple McDonalds Sundae. Oops, too much slice-of-life.

Lol… i had to contend myself trying to manoeuvre around countless lolis and shotas to take those three photographs. And as usual, i stepped into and hit an ‘orang putih’ loli whose dad was none too pleased.
Sometimes it’s not an advantage being tall.

To quote Kimura Kaere from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, “Utaiwayo! (I’ll sue!)”.
Perhaps their strict Western tradition might force them to throw a cat onto their neighbour’s lawn to ward off their daughter’s bad luck for the next one year or so.
