This Hitler youth is blond-haired, blue-eyed and just turned three.

Adolf Hitler Campbell is the middle child of three kids given Nazi-themed names by their parents, including a dad who denies the Holocaust occurred and decorates his home with swastikas.

“They’re just names, you know,” father Heath Campbell told the Easton Express-Times. “Yeah, they (the Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They’re not going to grow up like that.”

Adolf has two sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie. The latter, just eight months old, was named for Nazi leader Heinrich Himmler.

The bizarre names came to public attention after a local ShopRite declined to provide the Holland Township, N.J., family with a cake inscribed “Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler.”

No FUCKING wonder they wouldn’t decorate the cake. Parents wouldn’t even settle for Happy Birthday Adolf and insisted on the full name. What more when they claim to be non-racists but are unanimous with President Ahmedinejad in declaring the Holocaust never took place.

Rasa cinta atas kantri kita akan sememangnya berputik secara netural jika kita mendalami aspek-aspek penubuhan kantri kita beserta dengan perjuangan menentang omputeh.

Sejak zaman Parameswara, kantri kita memanglah amat gret. Sebaik sahaja beliau melihat seekor mausdir menerajang seekor anjing sehingga anjing tersebut terhumban masuk longkang, Parameswara begitu eksaited sekali untuk menubuhkan penempatan di Melaka. Apabila seorang sitisen Malaysian menghayati kisah ini, dia patut tahu, yang apabila seorang prins Hindu dari Sumatera menjadi eksaited melihat bumi bertuah kita, apatah lagi kita sebagai sitisen kantri ini?

Apabila kantri kita dikonker oleh pelbagai jenis omputeh, jelas sekali kantri kita amat presyes sekali di mata omputeh. Walaupun kita telah diopres oleh mereka selama beberapa handred yers, namum kita masih fait sambil mengsakrifisasikan begitu banyak. Sakrifis iniliah yang patut kita kenang jasa. Segala taim dan energi yang dicurahkan untuk indipendens kantri kita perlu direkognasikan oleh kita. Jika kita tidak mengetahui histori, kita takkan memahami sakrifis penjuang independens.

Mengetahui histori kantri kita bukanlah sesuatu yang susah. Dengan inovasi moden seperti Fesbuk dan Twitter dan gabungan aspek-aspek kuno seperti Pak Rais dan Apanama, bukan susah untuk kita respek dan cinta kantri kita. Dari evolusi sampan yang tak gerak kemana-mana kepada dacing yang berat sebelah, kantri kita sememangnya sudah biasa diperkosa. Jelas kelihatan kantri kita skrim dengan kuat, tapi apakah dayanya? Kantri kita kenot memulihkan dirinya sendiri; maka kita yang bagaikan antibodi kantri kita perlu mengambil inisiatif dan berpartisipasi untuk men-trow ewey segala yang basi di kantri kita.

Saya sudah slipi menulis esei ini. Maklumlah, tahap effisensi Bahasa Malaysia saya sudah ter-autdet jika dikomper dengan generasi baru Malaysia. Tapi, saya takkan membiarkan omputeh mengetek negara saya secara sailent dengan infiltrasi bahasa mereka. Kantri saya amat bangga dengan bahasanya yang tersendiri. Negara kita amat berprestij di arena dunia. Oleh itu, kita mesti memelihara and meningkat lagi prestij Malaysia demi Visi 2020. Demikian, diharapkan inovasi moden  yang kian dibina dan diinspirasi oleh rakyat Malaysia akan membolehkan negara kita mencapai Visi 2020.

Note: I haven’t spoken the national language on a regular basis so it was difficult for me to think of suitable sentences to add to the above. But that copy pasted section truly is awe inspirasi-ing.

PARIS, March 4 — The latest party circuit princess to wow the night clubs and festivals of France with her DJ skills is a British granny who took a shine to the decks after going to a birthday disco for her grandson.

Interesting is it not? I myself find me to be somewhat torn between the two extremes he’s mentioned. On one hand, children should learn to read books. But on the other hand, we should also not ignore what the Internet and the benefits of cyberspace from a social perspective. Humans as social creatures use the Internet to communicate, talk, make connections to one another. Why else would you have town and cities? Because of the human need for interaction with one another!

But don’t take my word for it, that’s only one part of it. I don’t know enough about sociology to confidently claim what I say is gospel.

It’s amazing the kind of stuff you can read online nowadays. 4chan’s /cgl/ is an example of  a cosplay cesspool, FranDan/Yaya/Alodia get all the hate. Then there’s the whole Otacool 2 thing. But just when you thought things were getting quiet! We have our own “local” heroes(when I say local I actually mean somewhere down south. Singapore seceded on the 9th of August 1965 from the Federation of Malaysia).

But we too have more ‘local’ flavours of rage and disgust. So much so that a new thread sprang up in a local event forum, Comic Fiesta. As a mod, I will refrain, which I try to do most of the time, by trying to offer a not too biased opinion. But this is no bias, just pure DRAMA involved.

First off, our *ahem* fellow cosplayers and whatnot from Singapore(‘our’ doesn’t apply to me as I don’t cosplay, oops!).

Now if you’ve had the chance to read a previous article I wrote on my experiences at MCM Expo London you’ll soon figure out that I too, am certainly, MOST DEFINITELY biased against bad cosplay. However, as I understand it(in the UK), quality isn’t so much of a factor but it’s the fun factor that counts most. Still, you wouldn’t want to mindfuck yourself too much, would you?

So along came a spider friend, Zend, who created this thread in ComicFiesta forums to ‘address’ the issue of veterans, newbies, cosplay policy etc etc. However, thread soon garners HUGE attention. Someone’s post in said thread then spills over onto Facebook. Someone called ReiRobin, apparently, is at the heart of the problem. And it’s all the way in East Malaysia! WOW!

Now forgive me for saying, but where do these people all find the energy(by people I mean the ones trolling, getting trolled and flaming each other till the ashes turn to dust, not the ones with good intentions), AND time… to stir the shit-pot? Not that it’s a crime. But it’s most certainly lulz-worthy.

I don’t even know why I’m making this a blog post either, to be honest. But one thing I’m sure off, DEFINITELY, MOST AWESOMELY… KILLING ME LAUGHING!

These messages mainly consist of “Hey babe… missing you lots xxxx” or “Muackzzz xxx” or “Oh sugar babe, <3 <3″. Nothing really wrong, right?

Well, that’s where you’re wrong.

For the most part, humans ARE social creatures, and as socially-dependent creatures, we tend to need to show our affection(or disaffection) for one another. Back then it was in a physical form. Then came along Mr Pen & Paper, and we used letters. Then a brainhead created the World Wide Web(or a few brainheads, I blame science for this) created the Internet and lo and behold! we have what is now known as the Internet.

Social networking came along later and today we have what is now commonly called, social networking. Facebook has supplanted Friendster as the social networking medium of choice for most of the world. Twitter has also been around for the last two years and is already an ‘important’ (if you want to call it that) communication tool(why the constant need to tell people what you’re doing at this moment in time?) of the current generation of Internet end-users, cyber-corporations and global miscreants(aside from near live “live updates”).

But back to the point. And by that I mean the status updates on Facebook.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way opposed to expressing one’s affection for another on Facebook. Heck… you could propose via Facebook for all I care, seeing as ways of getting someone to marry you gets more and more creative all the time. What really jars the nerve in me is that when I see status updates… I see a lot of abuse of personal SPACE and on a whole, an abuse of the privilege to use social networking websites.

Now you’re probably thinking… “Whaaattt?” “Oh come on!” “Get a girlfriend!” “Get a life!”  ”FUCK YOU!” “YOU SUCK!”

But wait… think about it. Social network sites have specific rules you have to follow. I’m not going to get into all that muddy legal stuff because heck, not many read it and let’s face it, you didn’t either. Probably.

Remember, Freedom of Speech is not a privilege, it is a Right. But the reverse is true of Facebook. You have been given a privilege to use Facebook’s services and applications. But this privilege can be revoked at any time.
Which now leads to the second point of why you should desist.

Now call my bluff but how many of you actually read those “Oh cuddlykins… my sweet boo” or “Yea… miss you lots babe” on Facebook? For my part, I don’t. Because I’m not interested. And if I do read it… it becomes bad taste. There are just some things which SHOULD NOT appear on Facebook at all. In the interest of not only my sanity but the sanity of others.

Call me a prick but love life… should be kept to the bedroom and between two individuals, on a personal level. Don’t get me wrong though, there’s nothing wrong with expressing your ‘undying love’ for one another. But do the rest really need to see the kind of soppy messages being sent between you and your ‘boo’? No seriously… KEEP. IT. OFF. FACEBOOK!

Fucking FAIL

I’m sure there are better ways to romantically express your love for the girl of your life(or man if you’re female, but this writer isn’t) than doing it over Facebook. Face it, the Internet is a humorless, emotionless place to be and you can’t convey emotions using a keyboard and a 20″ LCD screen which has a silicon-based electronic device attached to it that goes through some connectors and cables. If you want to be more romantic… SEND HER A LETTER! Go to her home with a bunch of flowers and surprise her! She’ll appreciate you for it. Better than you sending “heart”(<3) emoticons over the Internet which she’ll go “D’awww” over and forget quickly in a matter of minutes.

Third… it’s fucking embarrassing isn’t it? I’ve seen people break up… over Facebook. Seen people embarrassed over Facebook when the relationship turns sour. Nothing like having your entire love-life being exposed for all to see over the Internet isn’t it? Especially when it’s Facebook. So remember, keep the love stuff off Facebook and you’ll be better off for it.

Fourth point… take that “But its the new way to communicate” crap and shove it up your own you-know-where. No one wants or is interested in reading the crappy love messages you “send” via Facebook. There’s a reason why they’re called “STATUS UPDATES”. Keep it to that shall we? But wait, what happens when you post something like, “Missing my bf badly. Wants to go home to see him” and HE replies with all the soppy stuff? Oh LORD ALMIGHTY, for the love of GOD, PLEASE, I BEG YOU! Don’t do that!!! Think twice or even thrice before you even press that ‘Update’ button on the screen.

I could always come up with more points as to why I think it’s an idiotic thing to do but if I write anymore, it’ll just degenerate into a rant entry.

So keep those fingers moving and that brain thinking.

Think before you twitt(or facebaww).

PS – Valentine’s Day is on Sunday. Ugh… I don’t think I want to log into Facebook on Sunday.

PPS -Facebook is a provided service, not a right you have and they assign you certain privileges unlike Freedom of Speech, which is guaranteed in any country that professes to uphold democratic ideals. The Internet isn’t a democracy, it’s on the verge of organized anarchy, ruled by a mob and circling around the edges of the network are the ISPs, governments, unfavourables, anonymous, etc.

From the trailer… it’s set in Afghanistan, or what looks to be Afghanistan. Ala CoD4, the trailer also shows some scenes of the protagonist, i.e. YOU, driving a vehicle, flying a helicopter aaaaaanddddd *drum roll* in the hot-seat of what looks suspiciously to be a AC-130 gunship.

If you’ve familiarity at all with the local and worldwide cosplay scene in general, you’d be familiar with all the hubbub that’s going around with the new Otacool 2 magazine. Otacool is a magazine feature for cosplays. In particular, Otacool 2 features cosplay from around the world.

Cosplayers are invited to submit photographs of themselves to the magazine via DannyChoo.com and from there, get picked to feature in the magazine and if lucky enough, featured on the front cover of Otacool 2.

But this isn’t what this entry is about. Having seen some of the “drama” on Facebook, I decided to take a look at the front cover features.

Do take note that while I do try not to take sides, the Internet… speaks for itself. More so when you go onto 4chan’s /cgl/.

In the line-up, amongst which I recognize are;

1. Danny Choo – No surprises
2. Kaname – Still no surprise
3. FranDan – Questionable reputation in /cgl/.
4. Alodia – Also has questionable reputation in /cgl/. Honestly, some cosplayers have BETTER costumes than her.
5. Yaya Han – Boob job, she looks quite unnatural due to bust size. Her feature photo is from an older cosplay set.

Luckily enough, I think we DO have some cosplayers from Singapore being featured on the front page. However, two other things have caught my eye.

Sakana Sashimi

Now if you haven’t already seen it, she has a “fan-site”, which is amazing after just one cosplay! Debuted after she was featured in DC for her submission of her meido cosplay in HiMM(He is My Master). Gained +4 to notoriety after leader of fansite creates thread to introduce her in CF Forums.

Saya

If you’ve not seen her galleries, do check out wakarimasenlol.com, Linkinstreet’s blog. He’s got a bucketload of cosplay just of Saya. Also featured on Sankaku(which counts for something I guess).

Now comes the kicker… IF Danny Choo doesn’t count, WHY IS THERE ONLY ONE MALE COSPLAYER IN THE ENTIRE FRONT FEATURE LINEUP!?
